Photography

A small gallery of some of my pictures. I mainly use Black and White, because I want to control all the process, from picture visualization to printing. If I want to use color, I take slides. Click on any picture to download a larger version.

This picture was actually taken by my wife (although I developed and printed it). It was taken at the Santa Monica Pier, in Santa Monica, CA.

.

This other one is an assignment from a photography course I once went to. It's the only picture I produced during the course that the instructor liked.

Although it does not show very well on the computer, this is one of my masterpieces. It was taken with an old, completely manual, and not very good quality camera, but it came out just right. It's a choir of a small church in Panticosa (Huesca) in Northern Spain.

.

I like to take pictures of nature (for whatever reason, I love to take pictures of lizards). This slide is from the National Parc of Valle de Ordesa/Monte Perdido, in the Pirinees (Northern Spain).

.

This one is, of course, from the Grand Canyon. We went there on December 1989. It's cold, with less daytime, but also without the crowds. I prefer it that way.

This was taken at Yosemite National Park, in California. As you can imagine, those huge trees are sequoias. Tha tiny person is my wife. Not even when you have them in front of you do you imagine how enormous the sequoias are. That's why I like this picture.
